Brewster, KS

Brewster is a small town in Johnson County, Kansas, that has seen its share of growth over the years. The population was just under 2,000 in 1990 and has since grown to over 4,000. Brewster is located just north of Lawrence and east of Overland Park. The town is situated on the eastern edge of the Flint Hills and is home to several businesses that provide services to the surrounding area.

Brewster's real estate market has seen steady growth over the past few years. There are currently a number of homes for sale in the town, with prices ranging from around $100,000 to well over $1 million. The majority of homes in Brewster are single-family detached homes, but there are also a number of duplexes and apartments available for purchase.

The main street in Brewster runs north-south and is lined with a variety of businesses including a grocery store, gas station, bank, pharmacy, hair salon and several other small businesses. There are also several restaurants located along Main Street including an Italian restaurant called Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta which has been open for over 30 years. There is also a Starbucks located on Main Street as well as two other coffee shops.

Brewster offers residents access to a number of amenities including parks (including an outdoor pool), tennis courts (both public and private), basketball courts (public), golf courses (both public and private) as well as hiking trails nearby that lead into the Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge. There are also several churches located within walking distance from downtown Brewster.
