Spearville, KS

Spearville is a small town located in the northeast corner of Wyandotte County. The population was 1,890 at the 2010 census. Spearville was founded in 1871 and named for a local landmark, the Spearville Quarry. The quarry supplied stone for Kansas City's construction boom of the late 1800s. Today, Spearville is primarily a residential community with a few businesses and services nearby.

Real estate in Spearville is dominated by single-family homes on large lots. Prices are relatively low compared to larger cities, but there is still plenty of room to grow if desired. There are also several newer subdivisions being developed that should add even more housing options in the future.

The schools in Spearville are excellent and provide all of the necessary educational opportunities for children. There are also several churches and civic organizations available to help make life in town enjoyable. Overall, Spearville is a great place to live and raise a family!
