Nesbit, MS

Nesbit is a small town located in Bolivar County, Mississippi. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Nesbit is known for its agricultural production and its location near the Tennessee state line. The town was founded in 1892 by James and Martha (Dixon) Nesbit. It was named for the author of "The Catcher in the Rye".
