Mount Sterling is a small town located in the southwestern corner of Missouri. The population was 2,521 at the 2010 census. Mount Sterling is home to a number of businesses and attractions, including a Walmart Supercenter, a K-Mart, and several restaurants. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
