North Arlington is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 16,912,[8][9] reflecting an increase of 1,521 (+10.7%) from the 15,853 counted in the 2000 Census,[10] which had in turn increased by 2,711 (+19.2%) from the 12,994 counted in the 1990 Census.[11]

The borough was formed on April 10, 1894,[12] from portions of Harrington Township and Saddle River Township.[13][14][15] The borough is named for Arlington County in Virginia.[16][17] North Arlington was ranked as one of America's "Best Places to Live" by Forbes magazine in 2009 and again in 2015.[18][19]
