Tarlton is a small town located in the northwestern corner of Stark County, Ohio. The population was 1,856 at the 2010 census. Tarlton was founded in 1811 and named for General James Tarlton, an American Revolutionary War hero. The town's economy is based on agriculture and manufacturing.
