West Richland, WA

West Richland is a small town located in the northwest corner of King County, Washington. The population was 2,829 at the 2010 census. West Richland is bordered by Des Moines to the east, Auburn to the south, and Federal Way to the west.

The town was founded in 1907 as a farming community and grew rapidly with the construction of Interstate 5 in the 1960s. Today, West Richland is home to a variety of businesses and services including an IMAX theater, several restaurants and retail stores, a hospital, and two schools. The town's main attraction is its location close to both Seattle and Tacoma.
