Ferryville, WI

Ferryville is a small town located in the northeast corner of Wisconsin. The population was 1,816 at the 2010 census. Ferryville is located on the banks of the Fox River and is surrounded by agricultural land. The town was founded in 1851 and was originally called Ferryville Landing. The name was changed to Ferryville in 1871 after a ferryboat operated by Captain John Ferry crossed the river here.

The economy of Ferryville is based largely on agriculture, with corn, soybeans, wheat, and dairy products being major crops. There are also several small businesses in town that provide services to local farmers.
